The Interesting Way This 63-Year-Old Plans Her Outfits in Summer

December 8, 2016

A big part of my job is visiting fashion events around Sydney—new collection launches, store openings, and runway shows, and more often than not, the most captivating woman in the room is Lesley Crawford. The 63-year-old stylist is always immaculately put together—her outfits so colourful and striking, it’s difficult not to stare. I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in the same look twice, or in an all-black get up ever. When given the opportunity to interview her, I obviously jumped.

This season, Westfield has enlisted the help of a #NannaSquad to get organised for Christmas, and Crawford is part of the line-up, joining Patti Newton and Angie Hong. Why the nannas? Because these experts know how not to sweat the small stuff. Crawford will be snapping up her Christmas gifts at Westfield Bondi Junction (and even has her eye on something very handy for herself—but more on that below), so keep an eye out, you might spot one of her fab outfits IRL.

Keep scrolling to read our interview about her style, what she’s asking for this Christmas, and what she’ll be wearing on December 25.
