When people talk about investing in designer clothing and accessories, many say it’s worth it for the quality alone. After watching this video from Dior, you’ll see exactly what those same people mean. Thanks to our friends over at Footwear News, we just got a sneak peek into the design process that goes into making a single pair of shoes. This particular pair from the men’s S/S 17 collection takes a whopping four days to make. In addition to assembling the sole and the leather upper made of 34 pieces of leather, a craftsman adds small splashes of paint to each shoe by hand, ensuring each sneaker has its own unique look. Plus, the protective layer of transparent paint that seals the style onto the shoes takes two days to dry. Lucky for us, this video allows us to watch all the magic happen in just one minute.
